SA Government Transformation
Through Swarm Intelligence, Anthony is working within a major South Australian Government transformation, bringing modern data architecture, integration, analytics and information design to complex digital-service delivery. The work involves navigating legacy and on-premises environments, security, governance and delivery dependencies, across Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Fabric and Power BI.
2020–2026
Co-Founder & COO Specialist Data & AI Consultancy
Co-founded and helped scale a specialist consultancy working across complex enterprise transformation, data, analytics and AI. Anthony led operations, shaped delivery strategy and built organisational capability, while staying close to architecture, delivery quality, people development and senior client decisions.
2019–2021 · Flinders University
Cloud analytics & governance
Through Swarm Intelligence, Anthony led and contributed to the design and delivery of a Microsoft cloud analytics platform across Azure, Databricks, Power BI and Power Platform, including the customer-facing Flinders Intelligence Portal, an enterprise data governance model and automated forecasting for enrolments, workload and revenue.

Anthony Paterson
Anthony is a data, AI and transformation leader with more than 25 years of experience across strategy, architecture, engineering, operations and delivery. He moves comfortably between executive conversations and the detail of how systems, information and teams actually work. His strength is making complex problems understandable, finding a practical path forward and staying close enough to delivery to make sure the thinking holds up in the real world.

Kym Paterson
Kym brings operational experience across government, customer service and education support, with a strong focus on understanding individual needs and improving how people experience services. As an accredited Educational Support Officer, she works closely with young people and their learning needs, bringing a practical, people-centred perspective to Swarm’s product research, testing and development.
