Getting started
Does the app move my money?
No. Money Money Money plans your money but never moves it. To actually save, set up a scheduled transfer in your own banking app for the amount your plan shows.
Do I need to sign up or connect my bank?
No. There's no account and no bank login. Your records stay on your device. Optional Calendar sync and device backups follow your account settings.
How is "Yours to spend this week" worked out?
Your weekly pay, minus what's set aside for bills and goals. Tap the (i) on Home to see the full breakdown.
Can I replay the tutorial?
Yes. Go to Settings → Tutorial to replay all of it or just one part.
Logging Apple Pay taps
You can set up a Wallet automation so contactless card taps can send the shop and amount to your inbox. This is done in Apple's Shortcuts app on your iPhone, not inside Money Money Money.
- Open Money Money Money once after installing or updating. In Settings → Tap to log, allow notifications if you want category alerts.
- Open Shortcuts. In the main Shortcuts tab, find Money Money Money under App Shortcuts. Open the ⋯ menu on Log a tap and choose Use in New Shortcut. Tap inbox only opens the inbox.
- In the new shortcut editor, set Merchant to Shortcut Input, then tap that variable again and choose its Merchant detail. Set Amount to Shortcut Input → Amount.
- Name the shortcut M3 Wallet Log and save it with Done.
- Go to Automation → + → Wallet (or Transaction). Select your payment cards, choose Run Immediately, then Next. Edit your existing Wallet automation if you already have one, rather than creating a duplicate.
- Choose New Blank Automation (or Create New Shortcut). Add Run Shortcut and select M3 Wallet Log.
- Expand Run Shortcut and set Input to Shortcut Input. Save with Done and check Run Immediately is selected.
- After your next normal Wallet payment, check the M3 inbox for the correct merchant and amount before filing it. Review the actual transaction; opening the shortcut by itself does not test the Wallet connection.
No editable Merchant or Amount fields
The built-in App Shortcut tile is a preset. Use its ⋯ menu → Use in New Shortcut, then edit the saved custom shortcut as above.
My saved shortcut only shows in the library
In your Wallet automation, add Run Shortcut → M3 Wallet Log and set its Input to Shortcut Input.
A tap is missing its merchant or amount
Check both input connections: Merchant and Amount inside M3 Wallet Log, and Input on Run Shortcut inside the Wallet automation. You can fill in a missing amount in the M3 inbox.
Money Money Money doesn't show up in Shortcuts
Open Money Money Money once, then fully close Shortcuts and reopen it. Try searching “Log a tap”.
A tap didn't arrive, or arrived late
Apple runs the automation, and it sometimes runs late or misses a payment. Add in-app payments and online purchases manually. Review each tap before filing it; an automation can also run for a declined payment. You can always add spending yourself with the green + button.

Widgets
The widget shows the wrong helper or old numbers
Open M3 once after updating. Choose your helper in Settings and keep the widget's helper set to “Same as app”. iOS controls when widgets refresh, so changes may take a little while to appear. If it stays out of date, remove and add the widget again.
Auto transfers and Calendar
How do auto transfers work?
On the Accounts tab (or a goal's page) add a regular transfer, like $20 a week from Everyday to Savings, and optionally count it towards a goal. The app records it on each transfer day. It doesn't move real money, so set up the same transfer in your banking app.
Can I see paydays, bills and transfers in my iPhone Calendar?
Yes. Go to Settings → Sync to iPhone Calendar. The app adds them to its own "Money Money Money" calendar, with a 9am reminder on the day. Turn it off to remove that calendar.
I said no to calendar access
Open the iPhone Settings app, then Apps → Money Money Money → Calendars, and choose Full Access. Then switch sync on in the app.
Your data
How do I delete my data?
Settings → Reset everything clears your money records, chat, rewards and XP on this device, and removes M3’s calendar while Calendar Full Access is available. If access was revoked, allow it again before resetting. Existing iCloud or computer backups are managed separately and are not changed by a reset. Deleting the app does not remove events already synced to a calendar account; remove the Money Money Money calendar in Calendar if needed.
I got a new phone. Will my data move across?
Yes, if you restore your new iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup of your old one.
